Terms and Conditions
Reservation, Deposit and form of payment: Deposit and completed reservation form should arrive at least 60days in advance. The deposit is USD300 per person and can be made bank transfer to our following bank account.
Final Payment: Final payment must be made upon arrival in Kathmandu prior to departure for tours and treks. Failure to comply with this requirement will result in automatic cancellation of your reservation and forfeiture of deposit. In the event that reservation is made within 60days of departure, full payment must be made immediately upon arrival. The company accepts cash USD, Euro or any other convertible currencies. We also accept final payment by a major credit card such as Visa, Master card.
Cancellation & Refund:
Once reservation is confirmed, deposit paid is 100% non- refundable. All cancellation request must be made in writing. Penalty for cancellations within 60 days of departure will be assessed as follows:
60-40 days ----- 25% of the tour cost
41-28 days -----50% of the tour cost
27 days or less---100% of the tour cost
Currency Fluctuation: All prices of the tours are based on the time of publication. Prices may change in the event of increased land or air costs that are beyond the company's control. The company reserves the right to alter the price of any tour due to currency fluctuation. Any price increase will normally be notified 60days prior to departure.
Unused Services: Regardless of the reason, unused services during the tour including transportation, hotel accommodation, meals and sightseeing are neither refundable not exchangeable.
Travel Documents: It is the client's own responsibility to obtain passport and travel visa. The passport should be valid for at least 6 months beyond the intended return date. The client is responsible for providing the company with correct, complete and accurate information regarding personal details including physical disabilities.
Minimum Age and Child fare: Minimum age to be accepted for our tours is 8. Children between 8 and 11 may qualify for discount on airfares and hotel charges. Children over 11 will be charged full adult fare.
Insurance: The company strongly recommends that all travelers must purchase trip cancellation and interruption, hospital and medical and baggage insurance to protect their travel plans.
Luggage Allowance: During the tour each client is limited to one piece of checked luggage, which according to the Air China, Druk Air (Bhutan), Air India (India) carriers must weigh no more than 20kg. (441bs) for the economy class, 30 kg for the business class. One carry-on weighing no more than 5 kg is allowed. Excess baggage charges are the sole responsibility of the client. The clients must be able to lift and comfortably transport their own luggage in short distances as sometimes porter service may not be available at all hotels, airports, etc.
Date change and transfer of booking:
Change of departure date after confirmation is not permitted. The air tickets once issued cannot be cancelled or altered. The clients have to pay the cancellation charge once the flight tickets are issued.
Health Requirements:
Our company reserves the right to exclude clients who are physically or mentally unfit to undertake long trips. Travelers to Tibet are required to provide a doctor's certificate stating that his/her blood pressure and heart condition is normal. This is a necessary requirement because of the possible effects that the very high altitude may have on certain people.
Complaints: If you feel unsatisfied with any service that our company has provided you can let your guide know about it or you can inform us directly by e-mail within 15days from the end of your tour. Please mention the tour code, guides name and services you complain of.
We will follow-up your complaint seriously and give reasonable and fair response after investigation. |
