Short and Exotic TreksThis is the third most popular trekking region in the country that lies in the north east of Kathmandu. The region offers baffling extremes in topography with vibrant climatic conditions. In just a single day, one can traverse through five different vegetation trekking zones from the subtropics to the timberline. The Gosainkunda Lake, situated in this region is a much-revered Hindu holy lake. Different treks through this region take us to Tamang and Helambu Sherpa villages, high elevation pastures and finally to the foot of Langtang Himal.
