This trek is designed for those people who have limited time and are interested in seeing Nepalese village life and local mountain scenery. This is a medium- hard short trek that starts near Pokhara and offers beautiful mountain views complimented by a terraced panorama of hills. It gained its name ‘Royal Trek’ because prince Charles of the United Kingdom walked it along with an entourage of 90 guests, camp followers and staff in 1980.
It is not a heavily trekked area allowing the beauty of this secluded area to be fully appreciated.
