Pilgrimage Tour to Manakamana & Muktinath

The famous temple of Lord Muktinath is situated about 18 kms north east of Jomsom in the north central part of Nepal, at an altitude of about 3750m. The sight of the bewildering Annapurna and Dhaulagiri mountain ranges will enchant you as you approach towards Pokhara Valley by air or surface from Kathmandu.

Muktinath is of the religious importance to both Hindus and Buddhists. The main shrine of Muktinath is a pagoda-shaped temple dedicated to the Lord Vishnu. In the walls around the temple are 108 waterspouts. The Jwala Mai Temple near has a spring and eternal flame fed by natural gas. It is believed that one should visit this temple after completing Pilgrimage of four special religions sites in India. That’s “Chardham Yatra”. You will enjoy panoramic views all around.

Itinerary Detail

Day 01: Arrival Kathmandu & transfer to hotel, sightseeing to Pashupatinath

Day 02 : Drive to Kurintar & by cable car we visit to Manakamana temple & continue drive to Pokhara

Day 03 : Full day Pokhara sightseeing trip to Bindhabasani temple, Tal Barahi, Mahadev cave, Devi’s fall boating on Phewa Lake.

Day 04 : Early morning flight to Jomsom & trek to Kagbeni (2hrs).

Day 05 : Trek from Kagbeni to Muktinath (4hrs)

Day 06 : Trek back from Muktinath to Jomsom.

Day 07: Fly back from Jomsom to Pokhara and same day connecting flight to Kathmandu.

Day 08 : Free day in Kathmandu for shopping.

Day 09 : Final departure
