The trek crosses several villages and winds through the Bhumthang countryside giving an exceptional opportunity to be in contact with the rural life. This trek is ideal for average walkers.

Itinerary:

Day 01: Arrival Paro & transfer to hotel
Day 02: After breakfast drive to Thimpu
(2 hrs. drive), overnight at Thimpu
Day 03: Thimpu sightseeing, overnight at Thimpu
Day 04: After breakfast drive to Wangdue Phodrang (3-hrs)
Day 05: Drive to Trongsa (5 hrs )
Day 06: Drive to Bumthang (3 hrs)
Day 07: Bumthang sightseeing
Day 08: Trek begins from Toktu Zampa to Ngang Lhakhang (4/5 hrs)
Day 09: Trek to Tahung (6 hrs)
Day 10: Trek ends at Mesitang (5/6 hrs), overnight at Bumthang
Day 11: Drive to Wangdue Phodrang (6/7 hrs)
Day 12: Drive to Thimpu (3 hrs)
Day 13: Drive to Paro
Day 14: Final departure
